Getting started
- Run Tekton-Setup.exe, then open Revit.
- On the Tekton tab, click License.
- Enter your email and license key. That's it.
Questions
Do I need to be online?
Only now and then. Tekton confirms its license with our server about once a week, and keeps working for up to 30 days without a connection. Team licenses check a seat out while Revit is open, so they need a connection while in use.
Can I move my license to a new computer?
Yes. Get in touch and we'll release it from the old one.
How do team seats work?
Install Tekton on as many computers as you like; as many people as you have seats can use it at the same time. A seat frees itself when Revit closes.
How do updates work?
Automatically. When you close Revit, Tekton checks for a new version and installs it in the background; next time you open Revit it tells you what it updated to. Every update is signed, and Tekton refuses any that isn't.
How do I uninstall it?
In Windows Settings, open Apps, find Tekton and choose Uninstall. Your license stays on the computer in case you reinstall.
What happens when an annual license ends?
Bought by card, it renews automatically each year; if you cancel, Tekton keeps working until the end of the year you've paid for. Bought by mobile money, it runs for the year you paid for; buy again to renew.
